Upcoming SoCal Cons: Save Some Cash With These Discount Tickets

Right now there are four upcoming Southern California fan events with great discounted ticket deals. Three of these deals are available through Goldstar – you’ll need to create a free account, and we’ve tried to include service fees here when comparing the discount price to the regular price. They can sell out without notice, however, so jump on these tickets if you’re sure you’re going.

Note: we’re not sponsored by Goldstar, nor are we affiliates, nor do we get any kind of kickback from these links. We just think they’re good deals for you!

There’s also an after party that’s scheduled to run late into the evening.

D23 Expo

d232013outsideThe priciest of the bunch here, but what else would you expect from a Disney convention? The biennial Disney fan gathering is once again slated for this August in Anaheim, . We’ll be covering D23 as well, but it’s always more fun in person! Plus, considering WonderCon’s move to LA and Star Wars Celebration moving on to London, D23 Expo might be a non-gamer’s last chance to get your geek on at the much beloved Anaheim Convention Center. (Gamers still have BlizzCon to look forward to.)

These slightly discounted tickets are available for either pair of a three-day tickets, a pair of Sunday tickets, or a single Sunday ticket. This Goldstar discount expires June 30 – which is also when regular D23 prices go up to the next tier. This is a good deal for folks who aren’t D23 members. Here’s the price comparison for you, including what the costs will be in the next (and final) ticket tier:
